Here he studied for his Master of Theology (Th.M.) degree, which he completed by God’s grace in 2009.

While pursuing a Ph.D. degree, Najapfour, since his installation on October 19, 2012, has been pastor of Dutton United Reformed Church, Caledonia, Michigan.  He is co-editor (along with Dr. Joel R. Beeke) of Taking Hold of God: Reformed and Puritan Perspectives on Prayer (2011) and author of The Very Heart of Prayer: Reclaiming John Bunyan’s Spirituality (2012) and Jonathan Edwards: His Doctrine of & Devotion to Prayer (2013). He is husband to Sarah J. Najapfour and father to Anna E. Najapfour. A particular verse from Scripture which he desires to shape his life by is Philippians 1:21: “For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”
